My name is Tesema, but many people call me Tevan. I am the founder and lead guide of Danakil Ethio Tours and the owner and operator of Simien Ethio Tours. With years of experience guiding travelers across Ethiopia, I am committed to creating safe, authentic, and unforgettable journeys across the country.
I was born and raised in the shadow of the Simien Mountains, where my love for travel began. As a boy, I would watch visitors pass through our village with curiosity and wonder, and I dreamed of one day showing them the real Ethiopia I knew and loved. What started as welcoming travelers to my hometown has grown into a lifelong passion for sharing Ethiopia’s landscapes, culture, and history with the world.
Today, through Danakil Ethio Tours and Simien Ethio Tours, we offer carefully designed tours to the Danakil Depression, Simien Mountains, Lalibela, Omo Valley, Tigray, Gheralta, Axum, and other remarkable destinations in Ethiopia. Our journeys are designed for travelers who want more than sightseeing — they want real connection, local insight, and memorable experiences.
